Introduction
Minecraft-inspired components for React.
CraftUI is a free, open-source set of React components inspired by the look of
Minecraft Bedrock's modern Ore UI: rectangular block buttons with a thick base,
sunken fields, sliding I/O toggles and a pixel typeface.
The components are for ordinary websites and web apps. CraftUI is not a Bedrock JSON UI library, a game mod, a resource pack or a change to the Minecraft client.
How it works
CraftUI follows the shadcn approach. There's no package to import from. The CLI copies a component's source into your project, and from then on the code is yours to read and change.
npx shadcn@latest add @runqora/craft-buttonimport { Button } from "@/components/craft/button";
export function Play() {
return <Button>Play</Button>;
}What makes it different
- Measured, not guessed. The colors and proportions were measured from published Ore UI design system references. All the art is original: CraftUI ships no Minecraft textures, fonts, icons or sounds.
- Accessible first. Components are built on Base UI for keyboard and screen reader support. Where the game's colors fall below WCAG AA, CraftUI keeps the color and changes the label, and a test holds every token pair to that standard.
- Coexists with shadcn/ui. Components install to
components/craft, and every token starts withcraft, so nothing touches your existingButtonor--primary. You can use CraftUI on one page of a normal app. - No lock-in. No hosted service, account, database or runtime package. Next.js is optional: the components work in any React app with Tailwind CSS v4.
What's available
The core components are ready: Button, Input, Checkbox, Switch, Slider, Progress, Tabs, Panel, Dialog, Tooltip, Separator and Scroll Area.
Still to come:
- Advanced components: Select, Dropdown Menu, Context Menu, Radio Group, Accordion, Toast, Popover, Navigation Menu, Pagination, Table and Badge.
- Game components: Inventory Grid, Item Slot, Hotbar, Server List, World List, Profile Panel and Settings Menu.
- Blocks: whole screens such as a main menu, a server browser and a game dashboard.
Part of Runqora
CraftUI is a standalone project in the Runqora family, with
its own repository, releases and issues. It shares Runqora's @runqora registry
namespace, so you only have one registry to add.
